Hee Jin Yoon, Founder & Executive Director
Harpist, Hee Jin Yoon is very active as a soloist, orchestra musician, chamber musician and teacher in Los Angeles & Orange County, California. She is co-founder of Flute and Harp Duo Dolce and Duo Gliss harp duo and focuses on expanding harp duo music. She has performed at Redlands, CA for American Harp Society Conference 2018 and Logan, Utah for American Harp Society Summer Institute 2015. ​
Yoon was principal harpist of Lancaster Festival Orchestra from 2008 to 2015 and has played in the Cincinnati Ballet Orchestra, Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, Korean Symphony Orchestra and Kentucky Symphony Orchestra. Recently, she has played with many other orchestras in California. She can be heard on the orchestra CD of Lancaster Festival Orchestra “Ragomania- music of William Bolcom, Clare Fischer”​
Yoon was born in Boston, Massachussets and she grew up in Seoul, Korea and received a Bachelor’s degree from the Seoul National University in harp performance in 2003. She came back to United States in 2004 and earned a Master of Music degree in 2006 and doctorate studies from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music as a student of Gillian Benet Sella of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. She also received a Performer Diploma from the Indiana University with the distinguished Professor, Susann McDonald. She won Concerto Competition at University of Cincinnati in 2012. She received awards including Victor Salvi Awards , Busan MBC Broadcast Competition. Also, she was the finalist of the American Harp Society Anne Adams Harp Competition. As a soloist, she has performed Debussy’s Danse sacrée et profane with Lancaster Festival Orchestra, Mozart’s Concerto for Flute and Harp in C Major, K. 299 with CCM Philharmonic Orchestra, Handel’s Concerto Op.4 No.6 with the Korean Symphony Orchestra, Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro and Lutoslawski’s Concerto for Oboe and Harp with the CCM Concert Chamber Orchestra.​
Ms. Yoon has passion for teaching and educational outreach program. She maintains her private teaching studio since 2007 and she was on harp instructor at God’s Bible College in Cincinnati from 2009-2012. In 2012, she moved to Los Angeles, CA with her husband and two dachshunds. She continues her career as a harpist to share her music with colleagues, audiences, composers and students.
Sydney Lee, President
Sydney Lee is a harpist at Orange County School of the Arts. She has experience playing solo, with orchestra, and with chamber music groups. She has also has been teaching music for two years through the Dragon Kim Foundation. Although she traditionally performs classical music, Sydney enjoys stepping out of the classical music box and playing diverse genres of music. She received first place in the CalASTA-LA competition, first place at Concordia University, and third place in the American Harp Society's Orange County Chapter. Outside of playing the harp, Sydney is an editor for a literary magazine and a journalist.
Naomi Cheng, Website Director
Naomi Cheng is currently a high school student at Yorba Linda High School, and is a student of Ms. Yoon's. After starting to take harp lessons from Ms. Yoon in 2021, she has since then grown a passion for the instrument, and has competed in competitions like IAPMT Concours Online Junior Grand Prix and Concordia Music Competition and summer camps like Concordia Chamber Music Festival.

Joshua Ho, Ensemble Director
My name is Joshua Ho and I am a harpist from Los Angeles, California. I am currently a junior in high school at Palisades Charter High School. I’ve been playing harp for the past 9 years and I’m also a student of the Colburn Academy, a pre-college music program. As a student at the Colburn Academy, I partake in music-focused classes every week on Saturdays. I enjoy playing solo repertoire, chamber music, and orchestral music. I’m currently a part of the Colburn Youth Orchestra and the Palisades Charter High School Orchestra. I have participated in many competitions throughout my whole time playing. I am a prizewinner and finalist for the Young Artist Harp Seminar Competition, prizewinner for the CALASTA State Solo Competition, prizewinner for the CALASTA LA Regional Solo Competition, and prizewinner for the Concordia University Concerto Competition. I hope to continue my harp career in college and beyond.
Arianna Chong, Outreach Director
Arianna Chong is currently an 8th grader at Canyon Hills Jr. High. She has been playing the harp with Ms. Yoon for the last 3 years. During her time with Ms. Yoon, she has attended numerous recitals and placed in the Concordia Music Competition. Arianna continues to expand her knowledge on music and adheres to her harp journey.
Sydney Danielle Concepcion, Program Director

Sydney Danielle Concepcion is an incoming senior at Los Alamitos High School and has been playing the harp for eight years. During this time, she has performed in various recitals and competitions under the Los Angeles Harp Ensemble and Concordia University. Over the summer, she performed and interned at the Concordia Chamber Music Festival. In addition to the harp, her love of music extends to playing the piano and drums, as well as singing—she has traveled to various countries with the National Children’s Chorus. Sydney is also a part of her high school’s yearbook and tennis team.
Hailey Choe, Outreach Director
Hailey Choe is currently an eighth grader who has been playing the harp for about three years. During this time, she has had the opportunity to participate in various recitals and competitions, including the Concordia Music Competition and the California Youth Solo Harp Competition. Her passion for music drives her to continuously improve her skills, and she looks forward to sharing her music with the community as she grows as a harpist. Beyond music, Hailey has a deep love for art and is actively involved in school clubs and community service.
